Aakash Tablet Finally Launched in India at Cheapest Price of Rs 2,500/-The screen is pressure sensitive (also called resistive touch) and responds somewhat slowly to gestures.Its multimedia capabilities are good, with loud audio and clear video on its 800×480 resolution screen. Aakash’s next commercial version Tablet called the Ubislate 7, which has a faster processor, is to be launched late January 2012
Ubislate 7 is set to have a 700 Mhz processor compared to the 366 MHz processor in Aakash. Ubislate 7 will be priced at Rs 2999/- for sale online.
The government till now procured only 10,000 tablets. It has still not procured the remaining 90,000 tablets for distribution in schools and colleges
