The much anticipated Bajaj Pulsar 375 had been under work from quite some time but speculations and leaks confirm its arrival in Indian market very soon. There are no two ways about it that Indian automobile market yield great share of buyers from entry level performance bike. Though no official release date has been announced yet, Bajaj Auto is expected to price Bajaj Pulsar 375 a bit low in comparison with its closest rival KTM Duke 390.
While we saw launch of Kawasaki Ninja 300 in India and market will soon be witnessing KTM’s new Duke 390, how can Bajaj sit back and relax. Much like Bajaj Pulsar 200NS which followed KTM Duke 200 release, Bajaj will be launching new 2013 Bajaj Pulsar 375PS following KTM Duke 390 advent.
Going by web showcasing, the new Bajaj Pulsar 375 looks distinctively aggressive, displaying a sporty new avatar. With inspired design cues from Pulsar 200NS, the new Bajaj Pulsar 375 has been equipped with Sport Twin Pod Projector headlights. The flagship model of Bajaj Pulsar 375 will be a full-fairing affair to match next level style and sporty character, many of the bike enthusiasts urge for.
The new Bajaj Pulsar 375 is also expected to sport the same instrument cluster as seen on Pulsar 200NS. Similarly, positioning of pilot lamps also give the quintessential Pulsar appearance. Some other similar features include Pulsar aircraft type fuel lid, tank design and similar looking cowl around the instrument panel.
Coming to Bajaj Pulsar 375 specifications, the new Bajaj Pulsar 375 features clip-on handlebars accompanied by compact and sporty cockpit outlook, dual-headlights and good-quality Bajaj switchgears. This bigger and power-driven Bajaj Pulsar 375 will have KTM 390 Duke inspired four-stroke, single-cylinder engine platform. With no confirmation officially, this 6 speed close-ratio transmission system packed Pulsar 375 is expected to churn out 40BHP power with its 4 valve liquid-cooled engine.
While new Bajaj Pulsar 375 shares most of its technology with Duke 390, the company claims Bajaj Pulsar 375 top speed is expected to touch around 150kmph. Suspension wise, Bajaj Pulsar 375 is going to be fitted with standard telescopic forks on the front side while its rear will consist of Monoshock system. While braking will be looked after by single rotor disc brakes for braking both at the front and rear side. As an optional addition, Bajaj Pulsar 375 will be offered with new ABS System for improved braking power.
