Honda CB Trigger, a tweaked or more specifically improved version of popular Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler is Honda’s recent player in 150cc bike segment. Keeping their promise to bring a new bike every quarter and following their ‘something for someone’ policy, Honda takes the pleasure to introduce the first ever bike to offer an optional Combi Brake System. Competing against Yamaha FZ and TVS Apache RT180, the new Honda CB Trigger 150cc motorcycle has been targeted to the young age group of 18 to 24 years. Contrary to all the expectations of sober designing, Honda CB Trigger 150cc bike has been designed as the inspired version of CB Dazzler, but appears significantly like its competitor, Yamaha SZ Series.
Available in three appealing colours including Pearl Siena Red, Black and Meteor Green Metallic, Honda CB Trigger will be incorporating a bikini fairing with a chunky, sculpted fuel tank and a cowl resting on the top. Apart from that, it will be boasting an upright sitting position and wide seat, making it perfect for elongated driving.
The street focused bike Honda CB Trigger is equipped with twin pseudo intakes and a fully digital instrument cluster. The LCD display includes usual fare including speedometer, tachometer, odometer, fuel gauge and a clock, all embellished in amber backlit theme. Other Honda CB Trigger features include black alloy wheels, full chain case, diamond frame, kick start, full gear lever, 220mm rear disc brake, 240mm front disc brake, tubeless tyres, Monoshock rear suspension, LED Tail Light, maintenance free battery and viscous air filter.
Apart from the sharp contours and bold lines of new Honda CB Trigger, the bike becomes the first Indian bike to be optimized with Combi Brake System (CBS) as an optional braking system for better control and handling. The CBS incorporated in Honda CB Trigger applies both the brakes simultaneously, ensuring under hard braking and reduces braking effect by almost 32 percent.
Talking about performance, the new Honda CB Trigger 150cc bike features similar Unicorn four-stroke single cylinder unit, coupled with 5-speed gearbox in one-down 4-up pattern. The carburetted motor in CB Trigger can churn out maximum power of 14BHP at 8500 RPM and the peak torque of 1.28kgm at 6500RPM. With all these configurations, the company claims that Honda CB Trigger mileage will be 60kmpl while it will deliver realistic 103kmph as Honda CB Trigger top speed.
