LG Optimus L3 E405 Mobile Review
For all LG mobile phone fans, the company has finally unveiled its first Dual SIM version entry level L Style Droid. Named as Optimus L3 E405, it is the second Dual SIM mobile from company’s Optimus L Trio smartphones.
Design
LG Optimus L3 E405 Mobile looks exactly similar to its original version LG L3 E400 with reasonably same features and specifications. The only plus is the dual SIM capabilities.
LG Optimus is being crafted as a square shaped prototype which has been inspired from other LG Optimus mobile phones. You’ll find new set of buttons on the front panel including Home, back, Menu and the fourth button for toggling between SIM (shift to active SIM).
The phone is a full touch based device sporting 3.2 inches TFT Capacitive touch screen. The screen of the phone supports 240 x 320 pixels resolution which provides commendable content display.
Camera
On the rear side of the phone, you will find 3.15 Megapixel cameras which can let you capture image quality of 2048 x 1536 pixels images. The camera comes with Geo Tagging feature which lets you give locational labeling to your images to add fun element to your photographs.
There’s no secondary camera included in the phone but for allowing Video recording the rear camera lets you capture VGA quality footage at 24 frames per second.
Performance
LG Optimus L3 E405 Mobile biggest advantage is that it offers user to make use of two network service providers in a single device. The mobile phone can be used for meeting both your personal and work needs but it offers single SIM standby.
The phone is packed with Google Android OS v 2.3.6 Gingerbread which is mostly included in the lately launched phones. The company hasn’t made any confirmation over its ICS update in coming times.
Running on the Qualcomm MSM7225A chipset is the Cortex A5 CPU which clocks at 800MHz. Accompanying that is 384MB RAM which might disappoints the users but it is quite similar to what other entry level phones are offering these days
Connectivity
The phone offers good connectivity options to the users through number of ports instilled in it. For network connectivity phone allows connecting on GPRS, EDGE, DLNA, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n port and Wi-Fi Hotspot connection.
The phone also allows wireless data transfer through its Bluetooth v3.0 technology with A2DP or you can simply connect your phone through MicroUSB V2.0 for making transfers through PC.
Battery
LG Optimus L3 E405 Mobile comes with Standard Lithium Ion battery of 1500 mAh power which can offer talk time of approx. 13 hours in 2G connectivity and up to 10 hours with 3G connectivity. The phone can also offer standby time of up to 600 hours.
