Motorola RAZR V XT889 Mobile Review
Motorola Razr V XT889 Mobile is a new ICS enabled device from Motorola which is released to compete in the ever growing market of smartphones. The owners of Verizon Droid Razr and Droid Razr Maxx were seeking Android ICS update, the company has made the first ever entry with ICS as the OS.
Motorola Razr V XT889 is a wide prototype which sports big 4.3 inch screen with TFT capacitive touch capacity. The screen supports 275 ppi pixel density which together with 540 x 960 pixels screen resolution displays vibrant and colorful content on screen.
On the front panel you will find no capacitive touchscreen but Android navigation keys which have moved on the interface now (somewhat inspired by Google Galaxy Nexus).
On the top and bottom of the device you will find speaker grills which might give competitive edge to other audio based phones; to a great extent, it looks like Motorola is having a battle with Apple through this design.
Motorola Razr V XT889 Mobile runs on Android V4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich is going to be platform for most the upcoming smartphones. With ICS, you can download thousands of applications from Android market and store in your phone for using it later.
The Dual Core Processor which comes with 1.2GHz clocking speed is based on TI OMAP 4430 chipset. Expect some high definition performance from the phone through its speedier processor which in combination with 1GB RAM ensures faster multitasking and smoother operations.
The phone comes packed with 4GB internal memory which lets you store thousands of applications and number of multimedia files in the phone. Still if you find shortage of space, you can bung in an external memory card to expand it up to 32GB.
Micromax Razr V XT889 Mobile is integrated with 8 Megapixel camera which is accompanied by Auto Focus and LED Flash which ensures highly sharp and bright photographs even in low light situations.
The camera can boast image quality of 3264 x 2448 pixels and also boast video recording of 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second. For video calling, there’s a VGA quality front snapper.
With Motorola Razr V XT889 Mobile, you can enjoy high flexibility in terms of wireless data transfer and network connection.
For network connectivity, the phone allows web access through class 12 GPRS and EDGE connectivity where at GPRS you can work at the speed of 32 -48 kbps. At third generation network you can connect to network at HSDPA and HSUPA speed or you can make connection through Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n port and Wi-Fi Hotspot.
The user can enjoy the power of wireless data transfer using its Bluetooth V4.0 with A2DP, LE and through direct phone to PC transfer using MicroUSB v2.0.
