This one of the highest selling bikes from TVS stable is going to feature beautifying changes including new headlamps, clear indicators, dual tone body colors and more choices of colors.
The TVS Star city looks stunning in its new avatar with all new graphics and design cues. The bike is given sporty touch with its Aerodynamic style in combination with additional features and dual tone appearance.
On the front of the bike, it is given bold and beautiful touch with body color side panels that hold halogen clear headlamps. There’s an aerodynamic black tinted wind screen on the front with front turn indicators fitted just next to it.
TVS Star City 2012 will feature new analogue instrument which have fuel gauge, speedometer and other indicators included. There are two dials with backlit system – one which displays speedometer and other which features analogue fuel gauge.
If you have forgotten to charge your mobile phone, no need to worry anymore. TVS Star City 2012 will be the first bike that will feature mobile charger socket placed just below the front left indicator.
The bike is incorporated with a wide and comfortable seat which can easily fit a rider and a pillion. Following it is a long rear grab rail which adds to the comfort of the pillion.
All over the bike you will find modern graphics spread over in combination with body color at the front fender, fuel tank, rear & side panels and petrol tank. The bike is available in six color hues including Bold Blue, Red Blaze, Electric Green, Gold spark, Silver Strike and Crimson Flash.

TVS Star City 2012 bike is powered by 109.7cc engine which can churn out the maximum power of 8.2BHP at 7500RPM. Thanks to Continuous Variable timing Ignition (CVTi) technology which results in better consumption.
Its Air cooled type 4 stoke engine can deliver the peak torque of 8.1Nm at 5000 RPM. The four speed gearbox in the bike can help attaining 84 Kmpl mileage.
TVS Star City 2012 bike is accompanied with reduced friction between engines which ensures better engine life and reduction in wear & tear of bike.
As per TVS claims, the bike is a combination of swirl and tumble motion which increases in-coming air-fuel charge motion in the combustion chamber, allowing superior fuel Economy; this is thrice what is seen in the traditional port designs.
The bike offers no kick start option but comes with simple self-start system. Adding to the comfort is the 2 adjustable rear shock absorbers which ensures greater comfort and provides more ease of travelling to both the riders and the pillion.
TVS Star City 2012 bike is estimated to be launched with the price tag of approx. Rs.39k.
