Pentax K-30 DSLR looks really promising replacement of Pentax K-r in the form of new rugged exterior build to meet your  extreme photography needs. Denver-Pentax Ricoh Imaging America launched this weather resistant DSLR camera, engineered to resist destruction from dust and water using its 81 seals.

Design

K-30 DSLR camera from Pentax is a water sealed body with each button, every hinge and every seam made weatherproof to offer extremes of photography. The water sealed body is made to work even in low temperatures with battery claim at temperatures as low as -10 degrees Celsius.

Pentax K-30 DSLR Camera can deliver excellent photographs with its Mirrorless Interchangeable lens construction which ensures faster autofocus performance. With its glass prism optical finder, you can enjoy 100 percent field coverage (up to 0.92 x
magnifications) on this DSLR camera which comes with light weight exterior.

The camera is constructed with ergonomic grip which comes with rugged bodies in the choice of three colors – Crystal Blue, Black and Crystal White.

What’s New

Pentax K-30 Camera features 16 Megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor which can work on an ISO range of up to 12800, which can be stretched up to 25600. The camera body accompanies a default lens of 18-55mm range.

The camera comes with Pentax’s new 11-point AF system using SAFOX IXi+ AF module with nine cross-type sensors. Advanced SAFOX IXi+ autofocus engine features improved optical components such as diffraction lens and AF assist lamp and light source destination sensor, useful for quick autofocus response in any lighting situation.

The camera can shoot JPEG images at 6 images per second in burst shooting speed mode and enables up to 1/6,000th second high shutter speed. The camera comes with Prime M image processing engine which is integrated for optimizing HD video capture, low chromatic noise, smoother live view and lower power consumption.

The sensor-based image stabilization system is incorporated in the camera to provide sharp, balanced and dust free imaging. It’s highly précised 77 segment metering system delivers exceptionally beautiful photographs and videos with balanced exposure, even in dim light situations.

You can record full 1080p HD Videos in competent H.264 formats at 30 frames per second. The video can be recorded with flexible exposure control settings and the integrated HDR shooting modes let you add various blending options for bringing spectacular video quality. Pentax K-30 DSLR Camera is scheduled to hit the market by July 2012.
