Global Mobile giant Sony Communication just announced two new launches in its Android Smart phones array. Adding Xperia Go and Xperia Acro S to the Xperia Lineup, Sony has answered the upsurging demands of Consumers for Dust/water proof and Durable Phones.

Design

Sony Xperia Go Mobile is a stylish and sleek design inspired from Xperia archetypal but this time with added ruggedness to the construction. The phone inculcates high end specifications packed in beautiful Ivory White touch structure with additional durability.

Sony Xperia Go Mobile features Scratch resistant mineral glass display which is at par with International standard of IP Ratings to safeguard it against dust and water effects. The phone sports 3.5 inches LED Backlit screen with capacitive technology and supports 320 x 480 pixels screen resolution.

Performance

Xperia Go Mobile is going to run on older Android OS – Gingerbread which will be operating on Dual Core Processor with 1GHz clock speed. The phone is packed with decent 512MB RAM which may not be so impressive but can handle smooth processing in combination with dual core CPU.

The phone is also inbuilt with A-GPS support which can be your guiding partner on your travelling spree fulfilling your navigational needs.

The mobile comes with 8GB internal memory which can let you store your favorite multimedia files and applications; and if you strive for much more than that, use MicroSD card to expand it up to 32GB.

Camera Specs

Sony Xperia Go Mobile is packed with impressive 5 MP camera which can capture images of 2592 x 1944 pixels. The rear camera makes use of features including Auto focus LED Flash, Continuous Auto Focus, Geo Tagging, 3D Sweep Panorama, Touch Focus and Face/Smile Detection, for improving the image quality.

You can make use of rear camera to capturing live moment in the form of 720 pixels video recorded at 30 frames per second. Camera is equipped with Video Light and Video Stabilizer features to enhance the video quality especially in low light.

There’s no front camera included in the phone supporting video calling using 3G network.

Sony Xperia Go offers various connectivity options to the users to enjoy sharing of the content on smartphone, laptop. Tablet or even on your TV. The phone comes preloaded with Sony Entertainment Network applications – Video Unlimited and Music Unlimited which will bring enjoyable experience of watching Hollywood blockbusters and listen to thousands of music albums.

The phone also lets you access internet using its Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n ports and through Wi-Fi direct. The phone is 3G supported which can connect internet easily and can let you work at the speed up to 5.8Mbps at HSUPA and 14.4Mbps at HSDPA.
